VoIP中基于AMR-WB的参数配置

摘要: VOIP中,FEC和MDC是两种常见的抑制包丢失的方法。然而如何根据丢包率的不同,获得它们在AMR-WB中的一些实际配置,从而能够选择最优的FEC或MDC,仍旧是一个未知领域。为了解决以上问题,首先依据R-D理论和Gilbert信道模型对AMR-WB中不同的FEC和MDC的性能进行了研究,然后提出利用失真界的比值对其性能进行评估的方法,得到FEC和MDC在AMR-WB中的一些具体配置,从而能够根据丢包率的不同对FEC或MDC进行最佳选择。

Study of AMR-WB Speech Coding in VoIP
Abstract:In VOIP(Voice Over IP), forward error control (FEC) and multiple description coding (MDC) are two commonly used techniques to resist packet loss. The adoption of AMR-WB by ITU-T is of significantly important for it is the speech code system adopted both by wireless and wire line service at first time, and will be used widely in wireless communication fields as well as wire line communication fields. However, how to choose the optimal FEC or MDC for AMR-WB in different loss rate conditions is an unexplored option. On the basis of the performance of different FEC and MDC techniques for AMR-WB codec, some practical configurations of FEC and MDC for AMR-WB codec are obtained, thus the optimal FEC or MDC for AMR-WB in different loss rate conditions is proposed .
