基于OAI的LTE MAC层研究和实现

摘要:为了满足人们对新型数据业务的增长需求,要求通信系统有着更快的传输速率、更小的传输延迟以及更高的吞吐量。无线网络MAC,作为通信系统的关键层,其仿真模块的开发对无线网络质量的仿真和测试研究有着重要的意义。OAI作为应用广泛的无线通信系统测试平台,在MAC层已经有了一定的研究基础。本文介绍了MAC层相关协议内容,重点分析OAI系统平台的缺陷,基于OAI平台搭建了LTE FDD通信系统MAC层仿真平台。该平台完全按照第三代合作伙伴项目3GPP PHY与MAC等协议进行搭建,更加符合真实的通信系统,可进行协议内容如随机接入、调度与复用解复用等方面的仿真验证实验,为性能、算法以及相关流程研究提供有力保证。

Research and Implementation on LTE MAC Layer Based on OAI
Abstract:In order to fulfill the increasing demand for new data type, faster transmission rate, smaller transmission delay and larger throughput are needed in communication system. As MAC layer plays a key role in communication system, it's meaningful to develop MAC layer simulation module for research on emulation and testing of wireless network. OAI is a widely used communication system testbed and there is already some research about MAC layer on OAI. This paper presents the protocol details about MAC layer, analyses the defect of OAI system and builds LTE FDD communication system testbed for MAC in terms of OAI platform. The testbed is based on 3GPP PHY layer and MAC protocol according to the real communication environment, on which researchers can conduct simulation experiments about RA, Scheduling, Multiplexing and so on. The presented testbed provides wonderful performance for the research on algorithm in protocol process.
