摘要:以高效性和灵活性而著称的linux开源操作系统正在获得更多人的青睐,它对外设类型的广泛支持使得其驱动程序的开发成为了一个热点讨论。基于此,本文着重介绍了linux系统下字符设备驱动设计的主要过程,其中包括设备的初始化、注册与销毁、读写操作等内容;之后又详细介绍了Linux外设的PCIE驱动程序的设计与实现,并给出了Xilinx开发板为外设的测试结果。

Design and Implementation of PCIE Device Driver under Linux OS
Abstract:Known for its efficiency and flexibility, Linux with its open source features is now gaining more attention and favor. It provides a broad support for a variety of peripherals, which has led to a hot discussion on its driver development. This paper mainly gives out an introduction of the main process of char device driver designing which includes the device initialization, registration and destruction, read and write operations etc. Then, it provides a detailed description about the design and implementation of PCIE device driver,and exibits an example testing results of the Xilinx evaluation board ML506.
