不同催化剂对磷酸法制备木质颗粒活性炭的影响

摘要:以杉木屑为原料,在磷酸法颗粒活性炭捏合成型过程中,添加不同催化剂,选择不同的浸渍量,制备中微孔均较发达的木质颗粒活性炭。通过测定颗粒活性炭的碘吸附值、亚甲基蓝吸附值及傅立叶红外光谱,研究了不同催化剂以及不同浸渍量和活化工艺的改变对木质颗粒活性炭碘吸附值、亚甲蓝吸附值及官能团的影响规律。结果表明:催化剂有助于提高碘吸附值和亚甲基蓝吸附值,而且提高催化剂的量,有利于木质颗粒活性炭中孔和大孔的发展,因此选择不同的催化剂量,可以灵活调整活性炭微孔、中孔和大孔的比例,实现活性炭孔隙的调变;另一方面添加催化剂可以降低活化温度实现节能减排。

Effect of Different Catalysts on Preparing Granular Activated Carbon with Phosphoric Acid
Abstract:At kneading molding process of granular activated carbon by phosphoric acid activation, meso- and micropores granular activated carbon was prepared with cedar wood by impregnation in the solution consisting of potassium nitrate or ammonium nitrate as catalysts at different ratios, second activation, removing inorganic matters by acid washing and water cleaning. Then, the Iodine number, methylene blue value and the infrared spectroscopic analysis of the prepared granular activated carbon were measured. The results show that the catalysts are in favour of increasing the Iodine number and the methylene blue value. With the increase of the catalysts, the volume of meso-and macropores in granular activated carbon are enhanced. When the amount of the catalysts varies in different range, the ratio of micro-, meso- and macropores in granular activated carbon can be easily adjusted. The other hand, catalysts can reduce the activation temperature to attain energy-saving emission reduction.
