长三角地区TRMM 3B42(V7)数据精度检验

摘要:本文以1998-2010年长三角地区地面气象站的降水观测数据为"真值",分别在全年、干季和雨季三个时间段对TRMM 3B42(V7)产品精度进行了检验。研究结果表明:在全年时间范围内,TRMM日降水量与台站之间的相关系数R范围为0.55-0.72,MAE的范围为1.96-4.43mm,在日降水量较少的地区MAE越低,而NRMSE越高,且TRMM数据在雨季的精度高于全年和干季时期。TRMM日降水数据在进行不同等级降水预报方面并不能取得很好的效果,但是用于预报降水事件发生,尤其是在雨季准确率可以达到60%以上。

Accuracy validation of TRMM 3B42(V7) in Yangtze River Delta Region
Abstract:In this paper the gauge-based precipitation data in Yangtze River Delta region during 1998-2010 were used as the true data to verify the accuracy of TRMM 3B42 (V7) within a year, the dry season and rain season for each station. The results demonstrated that within a year the Pearson correlation coefficient (R) ranged from 0.55 to 0.72, MAE ranged from 1.96 to 4.43mm. The gauge station with low daily precipitation had the low MAE and high NRMSE. The accuracy of TRMM 3B42 in the rain season was higher than that in a year and dry season. A fair capability was found when using daily TRMM precipitation to detect different rain events, but the probability of detection rain event was higher than 60% in rain season.
