NDN缓存机制研究

摘要:目前日益增长的用户规模和用户需求给互联网带来了巨大的挑战,内容本身越来越成为用户需求的中心,而且CDN,P2P等内容共享业务给网络带来了巨大的压力,降低了用户的上网体验,对这种网络带宽分布严重不均的现象,服务提供商束手无策。因此针对内容为中心的下一代网络研究应运而生。其中NDN(Named Data Networking)是针对目前IP网络中内容分配成为中心,IP地址的双重身份等现状和问题而提出的一种数据命名本身替代IP地址成为网络核心的新一代网络架构。本文对NDN默认的缓存机制,即在回传路径上的每个节点都进行内容缓存的策略,进行了思考和改进。 主要针对缓存内容(what),缓存位置(where),缓存替代策略(how to replace)等三个方向展开分析研究,并且通过对缓存命中率(Cache Hit Ratio)等网络指标的仿真验证,对本文提出策略的有效性进行了证明。

Exploring for Content Storage Mechanism of NDN
Abstract:Continuously increasing size of current Internet user and their different requirements have brought great challenges to the Internet, and "content" itself is increasingly becoming the center of user need. Content sharing services, such as CDN, P2P networks, has brought tremendous pressure to the Internet and reduced the user's surfing experience, this uneven distribution of network bandwidth making service providers helpless. So the research for the next generation of content-centric networking emerged. For the current problems and status of IP network, like the content distribution becoming the Internet center, and the double identity of IP address, NDN (Named Data Networking) is proposed as the next-generation network architecture. The core of NDN is replacing the IP address layer by data name itself. In this paper, we considered and improved the default caching mechanism of NDN, which is each node on the return path caches the content. This paper is focused on the cached content (what), cache location (where), and cache replacement strategies (how to replace), and through the simulation and verification of cache hit ratio and other network indicators, the effectiveness of proposed strategies were proved.
