基于SDN的AP选择策略研究

摘要:随着无线数据的迅猛增长和无线终端的快速增加,我们现有的网络架构和接入点选择策略已经渐渐不能满足用户日益增长的需求。在现有的网络架构上进行改进已经由于传统网络架构的限制变得不够灵活。软件定义网络由于其控制与转发分离、可编程性、高创新性的特点成为当前网络新架构的研究热点。在分析现有接入点选择策略的问题以及对WLAN接入性能造成影响的因素后,本文提出了基于SDN的WLAN架构的新的接入点选择策略。通过仿真对比该策略和传统接入策略、基于探测响应帧平均延迟的MPD策略,验证新的接入策略的良好性能。

A Study on AP Selection Strategy in SDN Architecture
Abstract:With the rapid growth of wireless data and the rapid increase of wireless terminals, our existing network infrastructure and access policy gradually can't meet the growing needs of users. Due to the limitations of the traditional network architecture, improvements on the existing network infrastructure have been becomes less flexible. Because of its control and forwarding separation, programmable, high innovative features, Software Defined Network is a new network architecture focused by researchers. After analyzing the problems in existing access policies and the factors affecting the performance of WLAN, we propose a new WLAN access policy based on SDN-WLAN architecture. By simulating and comparing this new strategy and the traditional access policy, the MPD policy based on the average delay of probe respond frame, we verify the performance of the new access strategy.
