Sub-wavelength focusing generated by radially polarized doughnut Gaussian beams

Abstract:The radial polarized doughnut Gaussian beam is introduced firstly. The focusing characteristics of radial polarized doughnut Gaussian beam by lens with high numerical aperture is investigated based on Richards-Wolf's vectorial diffraction method. Numerical results indicates that sub-wavelength focusing are obtained for incident radial polarized doughnut Gaussian beam. Therefore, radial polarized doughnut Gaussian beam is considerable in the field of super-resolution focusing.?????

径向偏振中空高斯光束的亚波长聚焦
摘要: 首次对径向偏振中空高斯光束进行了研究。基于Richards-Wolf的矢量衍射理论研究了高数值孔径透镜对径向偏振中空高斯光束的聚焦特性。数值结果表明:中空高斯光束能够实现亚波长聚焦。因此,径向偏振中空高斯光束能够用于超分辨聚焦领域。
