基于网络编码的无线网络TCP优化技术综述

摘要:TCP协议已经成为现代网络中不可或缺的传输协议之一。然而,无线网络的信号衰落、高比特误码率等特点,使针对有线网络设计的TCP吞吐率在无线网络中很不理想。网络编码的提出使无线网络下的TCP优化有了新的方向,将其用于无线网络可以使TCP性能得到提升。本文首先介绍无线网络下标准TCP协议的局限性,其次介绍网络编码的概念及特点,然后介绍了六种无线网络下的网络编码TCP优化技术,最后介绍网络编码TCP优化的主要研究方向。

Survey on TCP Optimization in Wireless Network based on Network Coding
Abstract:Transmission Control Protocol(TCP)has become an indispensable protocol in modern network. However, features such as signal fading, high bit error rate in wireless network make the performance of TCP throughput far from perfect. The proposal of network coding gave a new direction to TCP optimization in wireless network. Wireless network combined with network coding can promote TCP throughput. This paper first introduces the limitations of standard TCP in wireless network, and then presents the concept and features of network coding. There followed with six technical schemes of TCP optimization in wireless network. Eventually it summarizes the main research orientations.
