The magnetic properties and thermal stability of Ta/Nd/NdFeB/Nd/Ta films with best NdFeB and Nd thickness

Abstract:A series of Ta/Nd/NdFeB/Nd/Ta films with different thickness of NdFeB and Nd were fabricated by magnetron sputtering system. It was found that the coercivity of films strongly depend on the thickness of NdFeB and Nd. The highest in-plane and perpendicular coercivity are obtained of 21.2 kOe and 19.5 kOe at the thickness of 750 nm of NdFeB. Moreover, the thickness of NdFeB and Nd layer affect the magnetic thermal stability of Ta/Nd/NdFeB/Nd/Ta films are also discussed in this paper. The films show higher magnetic thermal stability than commercial NdFeB magnet.

摘要:采用磁控溅射方法制备了一系列的不同厚度NdFeB和Nd层的Ta/Nd/NdFeB/Nd/Ta多层薄膜。结果发现,多层膜的矫顽力强烈地依赖于钕铁硼和Nd的厚度。当NdFeB的厚度为750nm时,获得了最高的平行膜面和垂直膜面分别为21.2千奥斯特和19.5千奥斯特的矫顽力。此外,本文研究了钕铁硼和Nd层的厚度影响Ta/Nd/NdFeB/Nd/Ta多层薄膜的磁热稳定性,研究表明该薄膜具有比商业钕铁硼磁铁磁力较高的热稳定性。
