基于嫦娥二号伽玛谱的月表U元素分布

摘要:为从嫦娥二号伽玛射线谱仪(CE2-GRS)探测数据获取月表U元素的分布特征,通过对CE2-GRS的结构、性能指标及CE2-GRS能谱数据特点进行分析,提出了CE2-GRS 2C级数据处理流程及相关技术方法,得到U元素计数全月分布图的初步结果。该分布图反映出U含量高的区域主要集中在月球正面的西部月海区及其附近,其次为南极艾特肯盆地内。在月球背面,U含量普遍表现为低值特征。与SELENE号U元素计数分布图进行比较分析,结果表明,两者体现出的月表U分布主要特征基本一致,但分布细节特征存在一些差异。

Global Distribution Analysis of Uranium on Lunar Surface Using CE2-GRS Data
Abstract:In order to acquire the global distribution of uranium on the lunar surface, the structure and performance indicators of the Chang'E-2(CE2) gamma-ray spectrometer(GRS) and the characteristics of the CE2-GRS data were analyzed. The methods and data processing procedure of the CE2-GRS were proposed using the level 2C spectra data measured by the CE2-GRS, and the preliminary global count map of uranium was derived. Uranium is primarily concentrated within and around the western-most maria on the nearside and a secondary abundance concentration is located in the South Pole-Aitken basin. On the farside, uranium generally shows the feature of low abundance. Compared with the global map of uranium measured by the SELENE GRS, the result shows that major features of the global uranium distribution appeared in CE2-GRS map are consistent with that from the SELENE GRS, but there are still some differences in detail between these two maps.
