基于图像颜色直方图和梯度直方图的镜头分割算法

摘要:本文提出了一种基于帧间方差直方图的镜头分割的方法。该方法对颜色直方图进行了部分改进,将原图像分成较小的图像块,应用分块颜色直方图来描述各个图像块的色彩信息。同时引进分块梯度直方图来表示图像块的边缘信息,更加准确的描述图像之间的差异度。通过对比颜色直方图和梯度直方图,结合一定的阈值条件,判断镜头切换是否发生。实验结果表明本文提出的镜头分割算法总体效果较好,对于各种类型的视频的查全率和查准率均能达到80%以上。

A Shot Segmentation Algorithm Based on the Color and Interframe Difference Histograms
Abstract:This paper presents a shot segmentation method based on interframe difference histograms. The method improves the color histogram partially by dividing the original image into smaller image blocks and using the block color histograms to describe the color information of each image block. At the same time, the method introduces each block's gradient histogram to represent the edge information of the image block which can provide a more accurate description of the differences among the images. By comparing the gradient histograms and the color histograms, whether the lens shift occurs can be determined with the constraint of the given threshold. Experimental results show that the proposed shot segmentation algorithm has superior system performance. And for all kinds of videos, its recall ratio and precision ratio can reach above 80 %.
