100G光网络传输质量优化策略

摘要:本文针对100Gbit/s PDM-QPSK WDM系统,在无链路色散补偿的相干传输、跨段链路配置不规则的情况下,提出光网络传输性能的评估与优化策略,提出了三种传输性能优化策略,通过对比仿真结果,证明最优化算法与每跨段中心功率相同的算法,相比于现网中初始设置的损耗完全补偿算法的最优解,传输性能提高约1.5dB,而每跨段中心功率相同算法算法复杂度低,优化效果好,可以被广泛应用于光纤链路中传输性能的优化。

Optimization strategy for transmission performance of 100Gb/s optical networks.
Abstract:In this paper an evaluation and some optimizing strategies are proposed to evaluate and improve the transmission performance for dispersion uncompensated (DU) coherent optical systems with non-identical spans in 100 Gb/s polarization-division multiplexed quadrature phase shift keying (PDM-QPSK) wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) systems over 10-span standard single mode fiber (SSMF).An analytical evaluation expression of quality of transmission (QoT) and three optimizing strategies are presented. Compared to the configurations with only transmitter-side launch power optimization, the Q factor of the other two strategies is improved by approximately 1.5dB. The algorithm setting each link have the same power in the middle of the link has low computational complexity and high optimization efficiency, which can be widely used to improve the transmission performance of optical system.
