近断层多脉冲地震动分类及特性研究

摘要:提出一种基于小波方法的考虑近断层多个脉冲地震动的分析方法(Multiple Pulse Analysis,MPA),并选取COSMOS地震动数据库台湾集集地震事件和日本神户地震事件中断层距小于30KM的共22组水平向地震动。阐述了MPA方法的原理与实现并利用MPA方法识别与分析了17组属于脉冲波的地震动速度时程。分析结果表明了考虑多个脉冲波对分析近断层脉冲型地震动特性的必要性及断层距对近断层脉冲震动最强方向与理论方向差值以及显著小波个数的影响关系并提出相应的回归公式。

Classification and Characterization of Multi-Pulse Near-Fault Strong Ground Motion
Abstract:In this paper Multiple Pulse Analysis(MPA) method is proposed to characterize and classify the near-fault earthquake characterizing multiple pulses based on wavelets method, totally 22 sets of horizontal strong ground motions whose closest distance to fault are all kept within 30 km from both Taiwan Chi-Chi earthquake and Japan Kobe earthquake are selected from the COSMOS virtual data center for analysis. The principle of MPA is depicted in details, and 17 sets of earthquake records chosen previously are classified as pulse-like ground motion with MPA method. Results indict that the MPA method gives a better representation and classification of near-fault earthquake records characterizing multiple pulses. Regression equation between the closest distance to fault and difference of direction between the strongest direction and the theoretical strongest direction and number of pulse have also been also provided.
