N型碲化铋基合金在热变形中的织构强化和热电性能提升

摘要:本文采用热锻方法,研究了热塑性变形对热压烧结N型Bi2(Te,Se)3合金微观组织结构和热电性能的影响。结果表明,热变形可有效提高材料的电导率,同时保持Seebeck系数和热导率基本不变。当热变形真应变为0.75时,材料热电优值ZT比原始热压试样提高80%。在此研究基础上,制备了700 g的大块N型Bi2(Te,Se)3合金,大块合金不同区域性能均匀,480 K左右时ZT大于1。

Hot deformation to enhance texture and thermoelectric properties in n-type bismuth telluride based alloys
Abstract:In this paper, hot deformation is applied to n-type bismuth telluride and its impacts on the texture formation and thermoelectric performance are investigated. We find that hot deformation can induce the donor-like defects and enhance textures, as a result the electrical conductivity is significantly improved. When the deformation strain approaches 0.75, the maximum ZT value is improved 80% higher than that without hot forging. We also fabricate a massive bulk bismuth telluride based alloy by hot deformation, which weighs about 700 g. Several bars are cut from different parts in the large bulk and their thermoelectric properties are measured to examine the homogeneity of the large bulk. The results show that the ZT values are all above 1.0 around 480K.
