雾聚合法制备季铵盐型抗菌棉织物的研究

摘要:本研究由三乙胺和溴丙烯在丙酮溶剂中通过N-烷基化反应合成抗菌单体N,N,N,N-三乙基乙烯基溴化铵(TAAB),并通过雾聚合法制备抗菌棉织物。首先使用雾化硝酸铈铵水溶液处理棉织物表面,通过铈离子的氧化在纤维素分子链上生成自由基活性点,雾化抗菌单体(TAAB)溶液处理该活化棉织物表面,引发接枝聚合获得改性抗菌层。红外(FTIR-ATR)测试和扫描电镜(SEM)确认了抗菌单体已成功接枝聚合在棉纤维表面;抗菌测试结果表明改性后的纤维织物对大肠杆菌等具有良好抗菌性,抗菌率可达90%以上。与一般表面改性方法相比,雾聚合法具有单体用量少且对织物特性损伤小,它在医用卫生纺织品中有着广泛的应用前景。

The Antibacterial Cotton Fabric Prepared by Grafting Poly(triethyl allyl ammonium bromide) via Mist Polymerization Method
Abstract:Triethyl allyl ammonium bromide (TAAB), a novel quaternary ammonium antibacterial monomer, was synthesized by triethylamine and allyl bromide in acetone and used to modify cotton fabric surface through a mist polymerization method. Firstly, atomization ammonium cerium nitrate aqueous solution was used to processing the surface of cotton fabric, then there was generated some free radicals active points through the oxidation of cerium ions on the cellulose chain, the free radicals active points then initiated the atomization antibacterial monomer TAAB polymerized on the cotton fabric surface, a modified antibacterial layer can obtain by grafting polymerization. The stucture of the modified surface was confirmed by attenuated total reflectance (ATR) spectra and scanning electron microscope (SEM), it was demonstrated that a thin coating was confirmed to be successfully graft-polymerized onto the cotton fiber surface. Antibacterial tests show that the poly(triethyl allyl ammonium bromide) coating endows the cotton fabrics with an antimicrobial efficiency greater than 90%. Compared to general surface modification methods, mist polymerization advantaged at small consumption of monomer and negligible damage on the fabric properties. It has potential applications in a wide variety of fields such as hygienic clothing, underwear, socks, and medical textiles.
