High/low-temperature Raman spectroscopy of Re3N crystals

Abstract:Well-crystallized plate-like Re3N crystals were synthesized through a high-pressure solid-state metathesis (HPSSM) reaction. The vibrational properties of Re3N crystals were studied by the temperature dependence of Raman spectroscopy between 77 K and 873K. With the temperature increasing, the red-shift and broadening of Raman bands of Re3N could be well fitted using a model involving three- and four-phonon decay processes. Our fitting results indicated that the three-phonon decay processes were dominant over the four-phonon ones at high temperatures.

Re3N晶体的高低温拉曼散射研究
摘要:本文对利用高压固相复分解反应获得的六方片状Re3N晶体进行了高低温拉曼光谱表征。当温度从77 升至873 K的过程中,可以观察到Re3N的三个拉曼声子模(E'',E'low和A1')的拉曼频移均向低波数移动,其峰宽逐渐变宽且强度逐渐减弱。然后,基于三(四)声子耦合模型(Three- and Four Phonon Coupling),利用Matlab语言通过参数设置分别定量模拟了高温下三声子和四声子耦合模型对于Re3N拉曼声子模E'',E'low和A1'的峰位和半高宽的影响。最终证明,在高温条件下,三声子耦合过程是主要影响Re3N拉曼散射效应的主要因素。
