Analytical Studies of the (2+1)-Dimensional Negative Gardner-KP Equation and Its Application on Internal Solitary Waves

Abstract:In this paper, a negative Gardner-KP equation is under investigation, whose Painlev'{e} analysis shows its non-integrability. Via the truncated Painlev'{e} expansion, an auto-B"{a}cklund transformation is presented and analytical solution is given. The bell-polynomial approach is used to obtain N-soliton solution for this non-integrable equation. Moreover, SAR image simulation of internal solitary wave propagation is provided, which shows prospective agreement with the observed SAR image.

二维负 Gardner-KP 方程的解析研究及其在海洋内孤立波中的应用
摘要:本文主要研究了二维负 Gardner-KP 方程. 首先借助符号计算进行了 Painlev'{e} 分析, 发现该方程是 Painlev'{e} 不可积的. 基于 Painlev'{e} 截断给出了自 B"{a}cklund 变换, 并给出了一组冲击波解. 然后通过贝尔多项式方法求得了方程的两组 N 孤子解. 最后利用所求得的 N 孤子解对中国南海的内孤立波进行了 SAR 图模拟, 模拟结果表明二维负 Gardner-KP 模型对内孤立波具有很好的描述性.
