摘要:甲基乙二醛(MGO)是一种生物体内的有毒代谢物,其与糖尿病有着密切的关系。在此我们报道了一种化合物1(邻苯二胺-苯丙氨酸-苯丙氨酸,OPD-FF),其可以在生理条件下与MGO发生点击反应得到化合物甲基喹喔啉衍生化合物。该产物可以自组装得到超分子水凝胶。冷冻透射电镜研究证明该水凝胶的内部结构为纳米管。作为一种新的超分子水凝胶,其可能会有一定的潜在应用价值。

A methylglyoxal-triggered hydrogelation
Abstract:Methylglyoxal (MGO) is dicarbonyl toxic metabolite in all living cells, which links to diabetes. Here, we designed a hydrogelator precursor o-phenylenediamine-Phe-Phe-OH (1) which reacts with MGO to yield amphiphilic methylquinoxaline derivative to self-assemble supramolecular hydrogel. Cryo-TEM images of the hydrogel suggested that there exists therenanotubes in the hydrogel. As a new supramolecular hydrogel, it will have some potential application.
