摘要:差异化价格竞争模型表明产品差异化程度越小,厂商的均衡价格和均衡利润就越小;厂商数量增加会进一步导致厂商的均衡价格和均衡利润下降。基于变异系数和市场绝对集中度的统计分析印证了智能手机在外观尺寸、重要硬件性能和操作系统上出现趋同即智能手机的差异化程度缩小,以及厂商数量呈现增加趋势,由此解释了智能手机产业出现的厂商营业利润率下降,大多数厂商处于亏损或盈亏边缘的状况。为了摆脱该状况,厂商必须致力于差异化的技术创新。

Differentiated price competition and enterprise performance in smartphone industry
Abstract:Differentiated product price competition model shows that the lower the degree of product differentiation, the less the product price and profit, and if the number of enterprise increases, it will further result in the decline of product price and profit .The statistical analysis of variation coefficient and concentration rate of smartphone market confirms that the number of smartphone manufacturer is increasing and smartphone is becoming more and more similar in body size, important hardware and operating system,that is to say, the degree of smartphone differentiation is falling. That is why most smartphone manufacturers' operating margins decline and many are on the verge of loss or breaking even. In order to get rid of the situation, the smartphone manufacturers must be committed to technological innovation to differentiate their product.
