刀具轨迹规划对超精密飞刀切削表面生成的影响

摘要:超精密飞刀加工过程中,刀尖和被加工材料之间的间歇性接触运动模式使得其表面生成的影响因素除了切削参数和刀具几何参数,还包括刀具轨迹规划。本文使用实验的方法研究刀具轨迹规划对超精密飞刀加工表面生成的影响。采用不同的进刀距离和不同的加工方式在铝合金6061上进行平面加工实验,实验结果表明,在相同的加工条件下,刀具轨迹规划不仅仅影响飞刀加工表面的三维微观形貌还改变表面粗糙度值。进刀距离的控制有助于超精密飞刀加工获得更好的加工质量,并且垂直加工方式下,进刀距离引起的表面质量优化程度大于水平加工方式。

Effect of Tool Path Planning on Surface Generation in Ultra-precison Fly Cutting
Abstract:The discontinuous contact between the diamond tool and the workpiece in ultra-precision fly cutting (UPFC) makes the surface generation not only depending on cutting parameters, tool geometry, path-interval, but also affected by tool path generation (TPG). This paper presents experimental investigations on the effect of tool path generation (TPG) on the surface topography by changing the entry distance and feed direction in ultra-precision milling of aluminium alloy 6061 (al6061). Experimental results show that under the same cutting conditions, the tool paths not only affects the surface topography in UPFC, but also influences the surface roughness in both horizontal cutting and vertical cutting. The contol of entry distance contributes to improve surface quality in UPFC, especially in vertical cutting, the improvement on surface quality due to the change of entry distance is larger than that in horizontal cutting.
