基于自适应喷泉编码的多媒体多播安全传输方案

摘要:在无线多媒体多播网络中,提高多播业务质量对保障网络性能至关重要。在无线多播传输过程中,当非法窃听者存在时,本文提出了一种基站端的自适应喷泉编码方案以有效防止非法窃听者的信息截获,从而保障多播传输中的安全性。文中提出方案的主要特征包括:1)通过引入喷泉编码,基站端的多播数据无需反馈重传;2)自适应喷泉编码构造方案的提出能够满足多播用户解码速率的多变性。文中自适应喷泉编码构造方案的设计核心是利用发端信息包相关性构造有利于加速多播用户正确接收并译码的校验包符号,以间接削弱非法窃听端直接破译源文件的能力,从而在一定程度上保障发端信息传输的安全性。理论分析与仿真结果表明,本文提出的基于自适应喷泉编码的保障多媒体多播安全传输方案在牺牲较小的操作复杂度前提下,既可以有效降低非法窃听端截获概率,同时也能提高基站端传输效率。

Security Enhancement via Dynamic Fountain Code for Multicast Transmissions
Abstract:Providing a secure and reliable transmission scheme for mobile multi-cast services over wireless networks is critical yet challenging in improving the multi-cast system performance. In the presence of the eavesdropper, this paper proposes an adaptive fountain code design in the base station (BS) to guarantee the security and reliability for mobile multi-cast services over wireless networks. The main features of the proposed scheme include:i)without feedback and retransmission of multi-cast data by introducing fountain code in the BS; ii) Adaptive adjustment of the fountain-encoding scheme to the variations of decoding rate for multi-cast users. To guarantee the security of multi-cast networks, this paper develops a novel fountain-encoding mechanism that adaptively adjusts the decoding rate for all multi-cast users to reduce the intercept probability for the eavesdropper. Furthermore, the proposed scheme enjoys higher transmission efficiency with slightly high-complexity implementation than traditional non-adaptive encoding design, namely, LT codes and the pure optimal-degree-distribution approach. Also conducted is a set of numerical and simulation evaluations that analyze and compare the proposed scheme adaptive scheme with existing ones. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the intercept probability in case of eavesdropper and achieve higher transmission efficiency in BS for mobile multi-cast system while imposing a little accredited complexity for multi-cast networks.
