摘要:本论文研究了空气条件下Al含量对由Al-Ti-B4C体系制备的TiC-TiB2增强铝基复合材料的反应行为、止裂特性和抗冲击特性的影响。铝含量是影响材料止裂和抗冲击特性的关键因素。铝含量增加能提高复合材料致密性,减小陶瓷颗粒粒度。微观结构与XRD结果证明了"燃烧合成-热压烧结"法的可行性与优越性。 10wt.%和20wt.% Al-Ti-B4C体系由于过高的陶瓷含量,导致较差的成型能力与机械加工性。30wt.%-50wt.% Al-Ti-B4C 复合材料的断裂韧性和冲击韧性均比铝基体高。TiC-TiB2/Al通过陶瓷颗粒沿晶断裂分散化解载荷,提高其止裂和抗冲击特性。50wt.% Al-Ti-B4C 复合材料具有最高的止裂和抗冲击特性。

Effect of Al content on crack arrest and impact resistance behavior of Al-Ti-B4C composite
Abstract:Reaction behavior, crack arrest property and impact resistance of TiC-TiB2/Al composite reacted from Al-Ti-B4C system with various Al content under air was investigated. Al content was the key point to crack arrest property and impact resistance. Increasing Al content could increase the compactness and decrease ceramic particle size. Microstructure and XRD analysis confirmed feasibility and superiority of combination method of combustion synthesis and hot pressed sintering. Due to exorbitant ceramic content, 10wt.% and 20wt.% Al-Ti-B4C composites exhibited poor molding ability and machinability. Fracture toughnessand impact toughness of 30wt.%-50wt.% Al-Ti-B4C composite were higher than those of Al matrix. The intergranular fracture dispersed and defused impact load and restricted crack extension, enhancing the crack arrest and impact resistance of TiC-TiB2/Al composite. The composite with 50wt.% Al content exhibited highest mechanical properties and impact resistance.
