LTE-A异构网络中负载均衡和干扰协调的联合优化

摘要:负载均衡技术和小区间干扰协调技术一直是异构网络研究中的两大重要课题。本文实现了一种负载均衡和增强型小区间干扰协调的联合优化算法。在Macro-Pico异构小区场景中,采用小区范围扩展(CRE:Cell Range Expansion)技术来实现Macro小区和Pico小区间的负载均衡会带来严重的Pico小区下行干扰,采用基于几乎空白子帧(ABS:Almost Blank Subframe)的时域小区间干扰协调技术来降低Macro小区对Pico CRE区域用户的下行干扰又会改变小区负载率。针对上述问题,本文设计和实现了一种针对Macro-Pico异构小区场景的负载均衡和小区间干扰协调的联合优化方案,该方案在降低小区间下行干扰的基础上更好的实现了异构网络的负载均衡。仿真结果表明,该方案不仅有效的均衡了小区负载,使过载小区比例降低了20%,而且使系统平均吞吐量提高了18%。

Joint Optimization of Interference Coordination and Load Balancing in LTE - A Heterogeneous Networks
Abstract:Load balancing and inter-cell interference coordination are two important issues in heterogeneous network research. This paper implements a joint optimization algorithm for load balancing and enhanced inter-cell interference coordination. In the Macro-Pico Heterogeneous Cell Scenario, using Cell Range Expansion technology to realize the load balancing between Macro cell and Pico cell will bring serious Pico cell downlink interference, using the time-domain inter-cell interference coordination technique based on almost blank subframe to reduce the downlink interference of the macro cell to the Pico CRE area users will change the cell loading rate. Aiming at the above problems, this paper designs and implements a joint optimization scheme for load balancing and inter-cell interference coordination for Macro-Pico heterogeneous cell scenarios. Based on the reduction of inter-cell downlink interference, the scheme better achieves load balancing for heterogeneous network. Simulation results show that the scheme not only effectively balances the load of the cell, reduces the proportion of the overloaded cell by 20%, but also improves the average throughput of the system by 18%.
