Preparation and Optical properties of Tm3+-doped silica glass based on plasma non-chemical vapor deposition method

Abstract:In this paper, a series of Tm3+ doped silica glasses for photonic crystal fibers with large core are prepared by the plasma non-chemical vapor deposition method combing with the dry RE-doped granulates for the first time to our knowledge. Optical properties of Tm3+-doped silica glass with different doping concentration are studied. The experimental results suggest that Tm3+ doped silica glasses prepared by the plasma non-chemical vapor deposition method are suited for the fabrication of photonic crystal fibers with large core.

基于等离子体非化学气相沉积法掺铥石英玻璃的制备及光学特性研究
摘要:本文首次利用等离子非化学气相沉积法结合稀土掺杂粉末颗粒工艺制备了一系列应用于制掺铥石英玻璃。研究了具有不同掺杂浓度的掺铥石英玻璃的光学特性。实验结果表明利用等离子体非化学气相沉积法制备的掺铥石英玻璃适于大芯径光子晶体光纤制备。
