Z2=0拓扑绝缘体的热电性质

摘要:本文研究了Z2=0拓扑绝缘体体系的热电性质。应用Landauer-Büttiker输运理论,得到了体系的电导、热导、塞贝克系数和热电品质因子。通过研究这些热电系数在不同温度,不同杂质浓度和不同尺寸下随化学势的变化趋势,更好的了解这种结构体系的热电性质。热电系数可以通过温度的升高,杂质浓度的降低和尺寸的增大来改善。但是,尽管在很大范围内独立调节电导、热导和塞贝克系数,体系的热电品质因子的变化并不是很明显,并不能在某一种情况下使得热电品质因子达到一个较理想的数值。

Thermoelectric Properties in Z2=0 topological insulator
Abstract:This paper decribes the thermoelectric properties in Z2=0 topological insulator. By the method of Landauer-Büttiker theory, the behaviors of electrical conductance, thermal conductance, Seebeck coefficient and thermoelectricfigureofmerit ZT of this system can be directly obtained. The effect of the temperature, the disorder and the size on these thermoelectric coefficients can better present the thermoelectric properties of the system. The system has a higherelectrical conductance, thermal conductance and Seebeck coefficientbyadjusting the disorder strength. However, the effect on thermoelectric figure of merit ZT is very little and the value of thermoelectric figure of merit ZT is small. So these adjustmentscannot make the system become a good thermoelectric material.
