氮掺杂分级多孔碳材料的制备及其催化氧还原反应性能研究

摘要:本文应用废弃的香蕉皮作为碳源,以一种便捷、廉价的方法制备了氮掺杂分级多孔碳材料。典型产物具有丰富的连通孔隙,比表面积高达1442 m2/g。电化学测量结果表明,其具有优异的催化活性和四电子反应路径的选择性,可以媲美甚至超越Pt/C。此外,相比于Pt/C,典型产物拥有更好的耐甲醇毒性和长期电解液腐蚀的性能,在经过5000次循环后,极限电流仅仅衰减了9.41%。更重要的是,这项研究不仅可以变废为宝,而且同时有利于环境净化。

Synthesis of nitrogen-doped hierarchical porous carbons derived from banana peel with excellent performance towards oxygen reduction reaction
Abstract:Nitrogen-doped hierarchical porous carbons have been synthesized by using a facile low-cost and accessible approach. The banana peels which regarded as discarded rubbish were reused and acted as carbon source. The typical sample possesses plenty of interconnected pores, and its BET surface area is as large as 1442 m2/g. Electrochemical measurements indicates that the typical samples exhibits considerable catalytic activity and high four-electron route selectivity, which is comparable or even superior to Pt/C in alkaline and acid mediums. Excitingly, the typical sample can even endure methanol-poisoning effect, and long term electrolytic corrosion with only 9.41% current density attenuation after 5000 consecutive cycles, which exceeds the performance of Pt/C. What's more, this work demonstrates a successful example for turning discarded rubbish into valuable functional products as well as addresses the disposal issue of waste biomass and contributes to environment cleaning.
