基于GSM基站的功率放大器设计

摘要:为了提高全球移动通信系统(Global System for Mobile Communication,GSM)中基站功率放大器(Power Amplifier,PA)的效率,本文通过双向牵引技术得到最大效率和输出功率时的最佳输入输出阻抗值,采用共轭匹配的方法,设计了一款工作在900MHz的GSM基站PA。仿真结果显示增益(gain,GP)不低于17.5dB,饱和输出功率为44.9dBm,功率附加效率(power added efficiency,PAE)达到55%。与一般AB类的PA相比,PAE提高了4%,最大输出功率提高了2dBm。

Design a power amplifier based on GSM base station
Abstract:In order to improve the efficiency of Global System for Mobile Communication(GSM) in the base station power amplifier (PA) , this paper designs a PA which works on frequency 900MHz in GSM base station.That uses the method of conjugate matching,through bilateral pull technology to get the best input and output impedance for maximum efficiency and output power value.The simulation results show that the gain (gain, GP) is not less than 17.5dB, the saturation output power is 44.9dBm, the power added efficiency (power added efficiency, PAE) reaches 55%. Compared with the general AB class of PA, the PAE is improved by 4% and the maximum output power is increased by 2dBm.
