预防HIV-1传染的新型杀微生物剂:苯乙烯-马来酸酐聚合物

摘要:杀微生物剂是通过应用于阴道、以期能够在现实生活中有效降低艾滋病通过性接触传播几率的的外用药剂。由于具有女性能够自己控制使用等优点,杀微生物剂作为一种提高妇女健康防护方法的有效手段,是目前国际上艾滋病研究领域的一个热点。本文介绍了苯乙烯-马来酸酐聚合物的衍生物作为一类新型的候选杀微生物剂的研究现状,并对该类衍生物的应用前景进行了展望。

Poly(styrene-alter-maleic anhydride) derivatives as novel microbicides against HIV-1 transmission
Abstract:Topical microbicides that could be administered directly in the vagina against sexual HIV transmission offer women the opportunity to protect themselves from HIV infection onder their own control. Due to their potentials against HIV transmission, microbicides have been actively explored. In this article, we introduce the antiviral properties of poly(styrene-alter-maleic anhydride)] derivatives, which are a new class of polyanionic microbicide and perspectives on these multifunctional microbicides.
