正铕异常对南海西北部物源转换的约束

摘要:沉积岩中的稀土元素铕(Eu)正异常是自然界极为罕见的。最近在南海西北部不同层段碎屑岩样品中发现的,典型的Eu正异常可作为周边物源转换的记录器,有可能保存了青藏高原隆升、中国东西部地形转换、中南半岛隆起、中国西部主要水系变迁等一系列重大地质历史事件的沉积记录。通过对该区两口井系统采样分析,结果显示该区中新世以来存在11.6Ma和5.5Ma两个重要的物源转换时期。分析该区正铕异常的形成机制,建立该现象与母岩区的对应关系将为重建中新世以来的区域演化提供科学依据。

Constraints on provenance change of the North-Western South China Sea
Abstract:The Eu positive abnormality in sedimentary rocks is very rare in nature. The typical Eu positive abnormality which has been found recently in the samples from different clastic-rock layers around the Northwestern South China Sea can serve as the recorder of the surrounding provenance change and may preserve a series of significant geological events such as the uplifting of Tibetan Plateau、topographic transformation between east and west of china,the uplifting of Indo-China Peninsula、the main drainage change in the west of china, etc. REE data of two wells in this area indicator that there are two provenance change time: 11.6Ma and 5.5Ma. Discussion about the corresponding relations between Eu positive abnormality and parent rocks will be held by study about the cause of the Eu positive abnormality. And finally to provide scientific evident for the rebuildinConstraints on provenance change of the North-Western South China Seag of regional evolution since Miocene.
