一种基于SDN的无线局域网AP信道分配算法

摘要:传统的无线局域网多采用胖AP(Access Point)或瘦AP+AC(Access Controller)架构,前者无法实现集中控制,后者则由于对新应用的开发封闭到AC内部,可编程性极差,均无法满足当前无线局域网的发展需求。软件定义网络(Software Defined Network, SDN)能够将数据平面和控制平面相分离,提供高度灵活的可编程接口,通过控制器来完成对网络内终端的集中管控,具有很强的灵活性和可控性。本文提出了基于SDN的无线局域网架构,设计了可部署在应用层的启发式信道分配算法,并通过仿真证明该算法能够保障用户的服务质量,有效减少系统内干扰,提高网络的整体性能。

An AP channel allocation algorithm for wireless LAN based on SDN
Abstract:The traditional wireless LAN (WLAN) uses the fat AP (Access Point) or fit AP + AC (Access Controller) architecture, and the former cannot achieve centralized control, the programmability of the latter is extremely poor because the development of new applications is enclosed within AC. So neither of them can meet the development needs of current WLAN. The Software Defined Network (SDN) separates the data plane and the control plane, providing a highly flexible programmable interface. It is very flexible and controllable to achieve centralized control of the terminals within the network by controller. This paper presents a wireless LAN architecture based on SDN, and a heuristic channel allocation algorithm which can be deployed in the application layer. Also, the simulation results show that the algorithm can guarantee the service quality of the users, effectively reducing the interference in the system and improving the overall performance of the network.
