面向命名数据网络的流媒体数据传输方法研究

摘要:命名数据网络是未来网络架构的主要分支之一,该网络"革命性"地重构了网络的协议架构,符合现代网络应用的需求。命名数据网络应用研究中的热点之一是流媒体数据。在流媒体数据的传输过程中,命名数据网络的兴趣包与数据包一对一的传输方式会导致流媒体兴趣包占用不必要的上行网络带宽,以及消耗过多的网络节点的处理资源,同时增加了数据传输的时延。本文结合了流媒体数据的编解码格式对流媒体数据进行分片命名;根据流媒体数据连续性、实时性和时效性的特点,结合时间信息,命名流媒体请求兴趣包,并指定兴趣包请求流的时间长度,实现了基于流的数据请求;此外,通过在网络转发节点中保留流媒体兴趣包,实现了命名数据网络基于流的数据转发方法。最后,通过实验分析,较原始的NDN传输方法,基于流的数据传输方法有效地减少流媒体传输的带宽占用,以及对网络节点处理资源的消耗。

Research on Streaming Media Transmission for Named Data Networking
Abstract:Named data networking is one of the main branches of the future network architecture. It "revolutionally" reconstructs the protocol architecture of the network to meet the needs of modern networked applications. One of the hot spots of named data networking applications is streaming media data. During the transmission of streaming data, the one-interest-to-one-data transmission mode will cause the streaming interest to occupy unnecessary uplink network bandwidth and consume excessive processing resources of network nodes. Meanwhile data transmission delay is increased. According to the characteristics of streaming data continuity, real-time and timeliness,our method names streaming request interest combined with the time information, and specifies the interest request flow with the length of time to achieve a stream-based data request; In addition, the network forwarding nodes retain the interest of streaming in Pending Information Table. Finally, compared with the original NDN transmission method, the stream-based data transmission method effectively reduces the bandwidth consumption of streaming media transmission and the processing resources consumption of network nodes.
