Triazine ultraviolet absorbers with surface enrichment property: synthesis and characterization

Abstract:Most of polymer materials are directly exposed to sunlight, leading to serious degradation on their surfaces.Functional triazine ultraviolet absorbers (FT-UVAs) were synthesized to protect the polymer materials surface betterfrom sunlight. The optical performance of FT-UVAs was studied by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. It is revealed thatthe FT-UVAs exhibit stronger UV radiation absorption. Compared to traditional UVAs, the distribution of FT-UVAs onpolymer surfaces has been improved almost 3 times, supported by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and attenuated totalreflection Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry. Contact angle measurements and surface energy analysis also suggest that polymer materials mixed with FT-UVAs exhibit excellent hydrophobicity and oleophobicity. Furthermore,calculation of dynamic process was conducted to gain insights into the surface enrichment mechanism of FT-UVAs in polymer.

摘要:户外高分子材料表面由于受到阳光的直射,造成材料表面老化严重,本文开发出具有表面富集性能的三嗪类紫外线吸收剂(FT-UVAs)用于提高材料表面的抗老化性能。光学性能测试表明FT-UVAs具有优异的吸收紫外线能力。X光电子能谱和傅里叶全红外反射测试研究表明FT-UVAs在材料表面的浓度接近传统紫外线吸收剂的3倍。接触角测试表明添加有FT-UVAs的PVC涂层,由于FT-UVAs在涂层表面聚集使得涂层表现出良好的疏水性能。此外,本文运用耗散粒子动力学模拟进一步研究了FT-UVAs在涂层表面富集的动力学。
