环境污染与人口死亡率-基于2010年地级市层面数据的分析

摘要:随着经济增长而带来的环境恶化、生态平衡的破坏和居民健康影响,越来越会成为制约经济增长的关键因素。众所周知,环境污染与居民健康息息相关,因此通过研究实施怎样的政策来减少环境污染对居民健康造成的影响,能够为政策制定者提供理论上的参考建议。 本文以Grossman健康生产函数为基础,纳入环境污染因素,包括空气污染和水污染,使用中国286个地级市2010年数据,验证了环境污染对人口死亡率的影响,以及在加入教育因素和卫生医疗因素之后环境污染对人口死亡率的影响。研究发现,环境污染对人口死亡率的影响是显著的,当加入教育因素、卫生医疗因素或是收入水平因素之后,该影响会出现一定程度上出现下降趋势。 表明通过改善教育服务、卫生医疗服务和收入水平来治理环境污染的健康风险,既能有效降低人口死亡率,又能改善居民享受服务,提升整体公共服务体系水平和社会福祉。

Environmental Pollution and Population Mortality - Analysis Based on Prefecture-level City Data in 2010
Abstract:The deterioration of the environment and the destruction of the ecological balance brought about by economic growth will affect the health of residents, and it will increasingly become a key factor restricting economic growth. It is well-known that environmental pollution is closely related to the health of residents. Therefore, by studying what kind of policies are implemented to reduce the impact of environmental pollution on the health of residents, we can provide policy-makers with theoretical references. Based on Grossman\'s healthy production function, this article incorporates environmental pollution factors, including air pollution and water pollution, and uses data from 286 prefecture-level cities in China in 2010 to verify the impact of environmental pollution on the population mortality rate, as well as the inclusion of education factors and health. The effect of environmental pollution on mortality after medical factors. The study found that the impact of environmental pollution on the mortality rate is significant. When the factors of education, health care or income are added, the impact will appear a certain degree of downward trend. It shows that by improving education services, health and medical services, and income levels to manage the health risks of environmental pollution, it can effectively reduce the mortality rate of the population, improve the residents\' enjoyment of services, and improve the overall public service system and social welfare.
