不同切削速度下微织构刀具切削性能的仿真研究

摘要:本研究主要应用ABAQUS对YG6刀具切削Ti6Al4V的过程进行了2D仿真分析,探索了普通刀具NT、矩形截面织构刀具RMT,V形截面织构刀具VMT在不同切削速度下的切削性能。仿真结果表明切削速度分别对切削温度、刀-屑接触长度以及切削力有不同的影响,且不同速度下,织构刀具的切削性能均比普通刀具表现优越。其中发现织构刀具会产生次生切削现象,VMT刀具比RMT刀具能减小次生现象的发生。本研究结果可为微织构刀具的优化设计提供借鉴。

Simulation study of the cutting performance of micro-textured cutting tools at different cutting speeds
Abstract:In this work, the machining process of Ti6Al4V was simulated by 2D finite element model built in ABAQUS/Explicit to evaluate the cutting performance of the non-textured cutting tool (NT tool), rectangular cross-section micro-groove textured cutting tool (RMT tool) and V-shaped micro-groove textured cutting tool (VMT tool) at different cutting speeds. The results show that cutting speeds impact cutting temperature, tool-chip contact length and cutting force in different ways respectively. Moreover, the cutting performance of the textured cutting tools is more superior than non-textured tools at different cutting speeds. In addition, the secondary cutting phenomenon was observed when cutting with textured tools, and it\'s found that VMT tool performs slightly better than RMT tool. The research findings can provide reference for the optimal design of textured cutting tools.
