基于FPGA的电表数值检测及算法比较

摘要:由于实际使用的环境的限制,电表数值的采集一般由人工采集,由于抄写的不便、危险和高成本,使用时具有一定的局限性。基于此背景,本设计进行基于FPGA的电表数值图像摄像头采集和Sobel边缘检测处理,以实现高速实时的电表数值的采集及显示。本设计基于ALTERA FPGA EP4CE10开发板,以ALTERA EP4CE10芯片作为主控芯片,分别实现了基于Sobel、Prewitt与Laplacian算子的电表数值的提取,并通过分析提出了适用于本本处理系统的电表数值快速自动采集与边缘检测处理算法,检测效果更好、数值更清晰。

The electricity meter value image detection system and the comparison of algorithms based on FPGA
Abstract:Due to the limitations of the actual use of the environment, the collection of electricity meter value is generally collected manually. Due to the inconvenience, danger and high cost of transcription, it has certain limitations when used. Based on this background, this design is based on FPGA-based electricity meter value image camera acquisition and Sobel edge detection processing, in order to achieve high-speed and real-time electricity meter value acquisition and display. This design is based on the ALTERA FPGA EP4CE10 development board, with the ALTERA EP4CE10 chip as the main control chip, which realizes the extraction of the electricity meter value based on the Sobel operator, analyzes the extraction effect and the extraction accuracy under different conditions, and the extraction accuracy is respectively compared with the commonly used other edge detection algorithms. The experiment results show that this processing system can realize rapid automatic acquisition and edge detection of the electricity meter value, comparing and analyzing, and make values clear.
