摘要:地质工作的"产品"是不同比例尺的地质图和报告。随着数字地质填图技术的发展和数字化理念的不断深入,有必要探讨地质填图的发展趋势、新方法和新技术。通过填图经验的总结,野外测绘必须从零维的点出发建立数据库,而不是一维的线和二维的面出发。本文提出了无级比例尺数字地质填图的理念,目的是为了全方位、系统地表达地球上大小不一和形状不定的地质体,并在后续的地质图服务中可以快速地获得任意小于最大比例尺的数字地质图。基于地理信息系统,在无级比例尺技术条件下,比例尺不是预先设定的,而是根据视窗大小、研究范围大小、符号大小、调查精度、地质体的不均一性及其最小地质体的大小这五个因子计算获得的,此时获得一个最佳显示效果或最佳目视效果,为最佳分辨率。本文提出了这一技术理念的可能实现技术路线,对尽快实现无级比例尺数字地质工作具有重要意义。

Considering digital geological mapping with continuously variable scale
Abstract:The "products" of geological work are geological maps with different scale and reports. With the development of digital geological mapping technology and the popularity of the digital concept worldwide, it is necessary to explore the development trend, new methods and new technologies of geological mapping. By experience, field mapping must build a database from zero-dimensional points rather than one-dimensional lines and two-dimensional surfaces. This paper presents the concept of digital geological mapping with continuously variable scale. This geological mapping method will allow us to acquire a comprehensive and systematic expression of geological body with different sizes and uncertain shapes. And then, this method will allow us to have access for acquiring digital geological map with any step-less than the maximum scale quickly in the subsequent geological map service. Based on geographic information systems, under the conditions of continuously variable scale, the scale is not preset, but depending on the size of exhibition window, the size of study area, symbol size, survey precision, heterogeneity and minimum size of the geological body. Through calculation, in terms of the five factors mentioned above, the scale can be obtained and yield an optimal display or the best visual effects and a best resolution. This paper presents a possible technical route of this technology concept and has very important implications for achieving the digital geological work with step-less scale as soon as possible.
