基于HEVC的码率控制算法研究与优化

摘要:码率控制是在视频传输带宽或视频压缩后数据量受限的情况下,保证视频服务的质量的一项技术。本文以HEVC为基础,总结了当前HEVC的实时视频传输码率控制方案,并且针对输出缓冲区状况,编码码字误差,编码输出质量波动这三个方面进行了完整的测试。发现当前的HEVC码率控制方案编码码字误差小,但是可能出现缓冲区溢出,输出图像质量波动大。针对上述两个问题,在保证编码质量的前提下,加入了缓冲区控制算法,以及帧级编码码字分配优化算法,有效的降低了编码视频图像质量波动,同时也解决了缓冲区溢出的问题,保证了编码输出码率的稳定性。

Algorithms and optimization of rate control based on HEVC
Abstract:Rate control is a technique for guaranteeing the quality of video services in the case of limited video transmission bandwidth or video compression. Based on HEVC, this paper summarizes the current real-time video transmission rate control scheme of HEVC, and tests the output buffer condition, coding codeword error and coding output quality fluctuation. It is found that the current HEVC rate control scheme has a small codeword error, but there may be two problems of buffer overflow and large fluctuation of output image quality. In order to solve the two problems, under the premise of ensuring the quality of the coding, the buffer control algorithm and the frame-level coding codeword allocation optimization algorithm are added, which effectively reduces the quality fluctuation of the encoded video image and also solves the buffer overflow and ensures the stability of the encoded output.
