基于FPGA的实时彩色图像双边缘检测

摘要:为了解决传统边缘检测算法中容易出现的边缘丢失,抗噪能力弱等问题。通过分析彩色图像的特点,在基于传统的Sobel检测算法中提出一种彩色图像的双边缘检测,通过对彩色图像的三通道分量分别进行中值滤波,结合Roberts算子和扩展的Sobel边缘检测模板对图像进行边缘检测,提高对复杂图像的适应性和边缘的准确性。该算法通过FPGA硬件开发平台,应用Verilog HDL语言与Quartus II的宏定义结合实现。经过对比试验证明,该方法可以降低边缘误差率,一定程度上提高边缘检测性能。

Real-time color image double edge detection based on FPGA
Abstract:In order to solve the problems of edge loss and weak anti-noise ability in traditional edge detection algorithms.By analyzing the characteristics of the color image,use a new color image double edge detection based on the traditional Sobel edge detection algorithm.Median Filter the three channels of color image and use Roberts and extended Sobel edge detection template to improve the improve the adaptability to complex images. Based on the FPGA hardware ,Using verilog HDL language and Quartus II IP core to get the algorithm implementation.The test results show that the algorithms can reduce the edge detection error and improve the edge performance in some extent.
