天然产物O-甲基转移酶应用的研究进展

摘要:甲基化是所有生命体中普遍存在的反应,通常是由S-腺苷甲硫氨酸(S-adenosyl-L-methionine,SAM)依赖的甲基转移酶催化完成的。O-甲基转移酶(O-methyltransferases, OMTs)是天然产物甲基转移酶家族中数量最庞大的一类,通过对分子中的羟基或者羧羟基氧原子进行甲基化修饰,OMTs可以极大的改善天然产物的性质。目前,天然产物OMTs(natural product OMTs, NPOMTs)已经广泛应用于医药,化工和能源等诸多领域,展现出了巨大的应用价值和广阔应用前景。本文从精细化学品生产,生物活性分子以及生物柴油合成三个方面对NPOMTs的应用进行了综述,以期为NPOMTs进一步的发展提供有益借鉴。

Application progress of the natural product O-methyltransferases
Abstract:Methylation is a ubiquitous reaction in all living organisms, which are usually catalyzed by S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM)-dependent methyltransferases. O-methyltransferases are the most abundant natural product methyltransferase. By methylating hydroxyl or carboxyhydroxyl oxygen atoms in the molecule, O-methyltransferase can greatly improve the properties ofnatural products. At present, the natural product O-methyltransferases(NPOMTs) have been widely used in many fields such as medicine, chemical industry and energy, and showing great application value and broad application prospects. In this paper, the application of NPOMTs were reviewed from three aspects: fine chemical production, bioactive molecular and biodiesel synthesis in order to provide useful reference for further development.
