摘要:与地面通信设备相比,无人机由于其较高的灵活和移动性,已在提供通信服务方面具有更大的优势。当地面上的源节点和目的节点之间的直达链路出现阻塞时,使用具有较高移动性的无人机来进行协作比较合适。考虑一个小型固定翼无人机中继网络,假定无人机采用圆形和直线飞行轨迹。通过联合优化无人机与源节点之间的功率分配以及无人机的飞行速度以达到最大化系统平均吞吐量的目的。为了很好地解决提出的问题,将原问题划分为两个子问题。第一个子问题采用线性规划的方法解答,第二个子问题采用搜索方式解决。最后仿真结果表明相比于其他的功率分配方式,本文的功率分配能够使系统达到最好的性能。此外,无人机采用圆形轨迹能够得到更平稳的信道条件,而无人机采用直线轨迹能够节约能量。

Average Throughput Maximization for UAV Relay inWireless Communication System
Abstract:Because of its flexibility and high mobility, UAV has moreadvantages in providing communication service compared with terrestrialcommunication equipment. A UAV is suitable to forward the information fromsource to destination when the direct terrestrial link between source anddestination is blocked. We consider a UAV relay network, in which the fixed wing UAV acts as a relay in wireless communication system. We aim tomaximize the link throughput of the considered system by joint optimizingthe power allocation between UAV and source node together with UAV speed by assuming that UAV adopts circular and linear trajectory. In order tocompletely solve the original problem we proposed, we divide theoptimization problem into two sub-problems. The first sub-problem can besolved by using linear programming and we use search method to solve thesecond sub-problem. The simulation results show that the system whichadopts optimal power allocation achieves best performance compared withother power allocation method. Furthermore, results indicate if more stable channel state is required, UAV communicates with nodes by adopting circular trajectory. If UAV needs use less energy to complete the communicationtask, linear trajectory is appropriate.
