甲醇燃料电池Pt基催化剂载体材料研究进展

摘要:随着能源和环境问题的突出,人们对于可持续清洁能源的需求愈来愈强。近年来燃料电池由于其高转换效率引起了很多科学家的关注,其中甲醇燃料电池(DMFCs)储存携带方便、功率密度和能量密度高并且能在低温下快速启动,被认为是很有应用前景的动力电源。但是目前对于DMFCs而言,Pt基催化剂仍然是最有效的催化剂,然而Pt基催化剂的高成本以及因含碳中间产物的吸附导致的活性降低等问题阻碍了其商业化发展。开发新型的载体有利于Pt纳米颗粒的均匀分散,实现催化剂的高效率利用。

Recent progress of support materials in Platinum-based catalysts for direct methanol fuel cells applications
Abstract:With the emergence of energy and environmental issues, demand for sustainable energy is growing. In recent years, fuel cells have attracted great attention because of their high conversion efficiency. Among them, direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) are convenient to store with high power density and energy density, and can be started quickly at low temperatures. However, Pt-based catalysts are still the most effective catalysts for DMFCs. But the high cost of Pt-based catalysts and the low activity due to adsorption of carbon-containing intermediates have hindered their commercial development. The development of novel supports are advantageous for uniform dispersion of Pt nanoparticles,achieving efficient utilization of the catalyst.
