一种基于HTTP交互式自适应比特率传输的视频质量评价方法

摘要:基于HTTP的自适应比特率(Adaptive Bit Rate)传输技术是目前视频传输中广泛采用的网络流媒体传输技术。然而,针对基于HTTP ABR这种以TCP协议进行无损传输的视频质量评价方法的研究并不成熟和完善,当前只有美国Spirent提出的ABR Scores评价体系成为了IETF的草案。本文针对ABR Scores评价体系中存在用户端算法过于复杂、对网络参数的统计需求过高等问题,通过改进视频质量评价分层模型、用户端网络带宽预测和视频主客观质量评价功能的方法,提出IABR视频质量评价模型及其网络评价架构。通过仿真实验,其实验结果表明IABR能有效改善ABR Scores视频质量评价体系中存在的问题。

An Interactive Adaptive Bit Rate Transmission Video Quality Evaluation Method Based on HTTP
Abstract:Adaptive Bit Rate (ABR) transmission technology based on HTTP is a widely used network streaming media transmission technology in video transmission. However, the research on video quality evaluation method based on HTTP ABR, which uses TCP protocol for lossless transmission, is not mature and perfect. At present, only the ABR Scores evaluation system proposed by Spirent in the United States has become the draft of IETF. Aiming at the problems of too complex client algorithm and too high statistical requirement for network parameters in ABR Scores evaluation system, this paper proposes IABR video quality evaluation model and network evaluation framework by improving the layered video quality evaluation model, user network bandwidth prediction and subjective and objective video quality evAn Interactive Adaptive Bit Rate Transmission Video Quality Evaluation Method Based on HTTPaluation function. The simulation results show that IABR can effectively improve the existing problems in ABR Scores video quality evaluation system.
