DNA甲基化与心血管疾病的研究进展

摘要:DNA甲基化是一种重要的表观遗传修饰,它通过在CpG岛的胞嘧啶5\'碳位共价结合一个甲基基团,影响转录因子与启动子结合,最终抑制基因的转录,进而导致DNA序列表达量和表达时间的变化。新近研究表明,DNA甲基化修饰在许多心血管疾病的发生发展中发挥关键作用,基因超甲基化和低甲基化都会引起基因表达的改变从而导致疾病的发生。本文旨在对DNA甲基化在心血管疾病中的作用及相关机制进行概述,以期为心血管疾病的临床治疗和预后提供重要策略。

Research progress of DNA methylation in cardiovascular diseases
Abstract:DNA methylation is an important epigenetic modification characterized by the addition of methyl groups to the 5-carbon position of cytosine on the CpG island, which affects the binding of the transcription factor to the promoter and inhibits the transcription of the gene, finally altering the amount and the time of DNA expression. Recent studies have shown that DNA methylation plays a key role in the development of many cardiovascular diseases. Both hypermethylation and hypomethylation of genes may cause changes in gene expression, thus leading to disease. This article is intended to provide an overview of the role of DNA methylation in cardiovascular disease and related mechanisms to provide a potential strategy for the clinical treatment and prognosis of cardiovascular disease.
