基于排队论的超市系统顾客排队策略的优化与仿真

摘要:超市服务质量与顾客满意度对超市的运营尤为重要。本文立足于多队列多服务台排队方式,考虑顾客到达后存在选择队列这一行为,利用排队论的有关知识对超市收银排队系统的特点进行分析,建立三种不同队列选择策略的数学模型。建立判断这三种模型优劣的指标为购物车平均等待时间、队列平均人数与队列平均购物车数,通过仿真模拟得到数据并进行数值分析,得到的结论是顾客选择购物车数最少队列的排队模型更优。同时基于此结论进一步发现,当队列离开概率平均值相同时,方差较大的情况相较于方差较小的情况,选择购物车数最少队列的排队模型对超市排队系统的优化更为显著。基于此研究发现,超市经营者可引导顾客选择最短队列进行排队,可以提升超市服务质量顾客满意度,尤其是各个服务台服务速率差别较大的情况下。

Optimization and simulation of supermarket systems customer queuing strategy based on queuing theory
Abstract:Service quality and customer satisfaction are particularly important for the operation of supermarkets.This paper is based on a multi-server queueing model that considers three different queue selection strategies. Performance metrics, including the average waiting time of shopping cart, the average number of customers and the average number of shopping carts in queue, are obtained by queueing analysis and simulation. The numerical results show that the strategy that customers choose the queue with least number of shopping carts outperforms the strategy that customers choose the queue with least number of customers and random selection strategy.Moreover, the improvement of the choosing the queue with least number of shopping carts becomes greater when the variance of service rate of each queue is larger. Based on this study, it is found that supermarket managers can guide customers to join specific queue according to the arrival rate and service rate, in order to improve the service quality and customer satisfaction.
