海胆刺球豆荚状NiCo2@Pt/C的氧还原电催化研究

摘要:设计具有高氧化还原反应(ORR)性能的Pt基催化剂对提高燃料电池的商业可行性具有重要意义。本文采用简单的湿化学法和两步退火法制备了一种海胆刺球豆荚状核-壳型的NiCo2@Pt/C复合催化剂,其中内部为NiCo2合金,外壳为Pt层,而NiCo2@Pt纳米粒子外部则由多孔碳膜包覆。这种独特的结构赋予了NiCo2@Pt/C催化剂许多优点,如多孔性、高导电性、丰富的活性位点和大的比表面积等。更重要的是,通过结合NiCo2核和Pt层之间的协同作用以及嵌入式结构的优势,NiCo2@Pt/C的ORR活性和耐久性远高于商业Pt/C。

Urchin-like peapoded NiCo2@Pt/C catalyst for oxygen reduction electrocatalysis
Abstract:Designing Pt-based catalysts with high oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) performance is very important for the improvement of the commercial feasibility of fuel cells. In this paper, the urchin-like peapoded core-shell- structured NiCo2@Pt/C composite catalyst was prepared by simple wet-chemical method and two-step annealing method, in which the NiCo2 alloy is as the core while Pt layer as the shell to form the NiCo2@Pt nanoparticles wrapped in porous carbon film. This unique structure endows NiCo2@Pt/C catalyst with many merits, such as porous structure, high electrical conductivity, abundant active sites and large specific surface area. More importantly, by combining the synergistic interaction between NiCo2 core and Pt layer with the advantages of embedded structure, the NiCo2@Pt/C catalyst exhibits much higher ORR activity and durability than commercial Pt/C.
