基于光线投射算法的医学图像体绘制的改进

摘要:针对经典光线投射算法中绘制时间复杂度高,绘制速度慢,绘制结果有伪影的问题,对经典光线投射算法中的重采样进行了改进,首先使用包围盒技术,减少空体素采样,其次根据人的视觉特性与体素之间的梯度值,进行自适应增量采样。对采样过程进行优化,以减少冗余采样,提高采样效率。医学图像可视化实验表明,改进的方法提高了绘制速度,还避免了伪影的产生,改善了图像的质量。

Improved medical image volume rendering based on ray casting algorithm
Abstract:Aiming at the problems of high time complexity, slow rendering speed, and artifact effect in the classical ray casting algorithm, we improved the resampling processes in the classical ray casting algorithm. Firstly, the bounding box technology is used to reduce empty voxel sampling. Secondly, according to the gradient value between human visual characteristics and voxels, Adaptive Incremental sampling is carried out. The sampling process is optimized to reduce redundant sampling and improve sampling efficiency. Medical image visualization experiments show that the improved method improves the rendering speed, avoids artifacts, and improves image quality
