一种用于生成高时空分辨率NDVI的改进FSDAF方法

摘要:归一化植被指数(NDVI)是监测植被状态的一种重要方式,但由于技术和预算的限制,现有的全球NDVI时间序列无法同时满足高空间和高时间分辨率要求,即时空矛盾。时空融合是解决时空矛盾的一种有效方法。但现有的的融合方法主要面临着两个问题,一是监测突变事件,二是保持足够的空间细节。针对上述问题,灵活的时空融合方法(Flexible Spatiotemporal DAta Fusion, FSDAF)方法被提了出来,但其预测得到的影像缺乏类内可变性和空间细节。为了克服上述局限,本文提出了一种用于生成高时空分辨率NDVI的改进灵活时空融合方法(Improved Flexible SpatiotemporalDAta Fusion, IFSDAF),并将其应用于Landsat_NDVI与MODIS_NDVI图像融合。与FSDAF相比,IFSDAF具有以下优势:(1)在进行空间预测时充分利用了实验数据;(2)引入了新的残差分配指标,提高了突变区域的融合精度;(3)考虑了Landsat与MODIS影像之间的传感器差异。与灵活自适应时空融合模型(FSDAF)进行了比较,结果表明,IFSDAF融合结果的视觉效果和定量效果更好,更能够准确地反应目标的空间细节,有较好的鲁棒性。

An Improved FSDAF method for producing high spatiotemporal resolution NDVI
Abstract:Normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI)is an important way to monitor vegetation status, but due to technical and budgetary constraints, the existing global NDVI time series can not meet the requirements of high spatial and temporal resolution at the same time, that is, spatio-temporal contradiction. The Spatiotemporal fusion is an effective method to solve the contradiction of time and space. However, the existing fusion methods are mainly faced with two problems, one is to monitor catastrophe events, and the other is to maintain sufficient spatial details. To solve the above problems, a flexible spatiotemporal fusion method (FlexibleSpatiotemporalDAtaFusion,FSDAF) is proposed, but the predicted images are lack of intra-class variability and spatial details. In order to overcome the above limitations,this paper proposes an improved flexible spatio-temporal fusion method (ImprovedFlexibleSpatiotemporalDAtaFusion,IFSDAF)for generating high spatio-temporal resolution NDVI, and applies it to the image fusion of Landsat_NDVI and MODIS_NDVI. Compared with FSDAF, IFSDAF has the following advantages: (1) making full use of the information of the original data in spatial prediction; (2) introducing a new residual allocation index to improve the fusion accuracy of the abrupt region; (3) adjusting the difference between Landsat and MODIS sensors. Compared with the flexible spatiotemporal fusion model(FSDAF), the results show that the IFSDAF fusion results have better visual and quantitative effects, can more accurately reflect the spatial details of the target, and have better robustness.
