固移融合TWDM-PON的低时延DWBA方案

摘要:随着第五代移动通信技术的快速发展,无源光网络(PON)成为固定与移动业务接入的重要场所,基于状态请求的动态带宽分配方案(SR-DBA)与面向移动前传的协作式动态带宽分配方案(CO-DBA)的高效协同,可以实现固定与移动业务的融合接入,是目前PON的研究重点。然而,5G新空口技术-微时隙(mini-slot)的应用,导致CO-DBA与SR-DBA的带宽分配冲突问题,增加了前传业务在PON中上行传输时延。本文以固移融合的时分波分复用无源光网络(TWDM-PON)为背景,提出了一种基于波长带宽抢占的DWBA方案。该方案允许在带宽分配冲突时高优先级的前传业务抢占低优先级固定业务的波长和带宽资源,进而分配靠前的传输窗口。仿真结果表明,与传统CO-DBA和SR-DBA协作方式相比(非抢占模式),本方案可有效降低前传业务的上行传输时延。

Low Latency DWBA Scheme in Fixed and Mobile Converged TWDM-PON
Abstract:With the rapid development of the 5th generation mobile communication technology, Passive Optical Network (PON) has become an important scene for fixed and mobile service access. The efficient synergy of status-request dynamic bandwidth allocation (SR-DBA) and cooperative dynamic bandwidth allocation (CO-DBA) for mobile fronthaul can achieve the convergence of fixed and mobile services, which is the focus of PON research currently. However, a conflict between CO-DBA and SR-DBA is to arise when using mini-mini-slot based on 5G NR, which increases the upstream transmission latency of the fronthaul service in the PON. In this paper, we proposed a DWBA scheme based on wavelength and bandwidth preemption in a fixed and mobile converge TWDM-PON. This secheme allows high-priority fronthaul services to preempt the wavelength and bandwidth resources of low-priority fixed services when bandwidth allocation conflicts, and then allocate the front transmission window. Simulation results show that, compared with the traditional CO-DBA and SR-DBA cooperation mode (non-preemptive mode), this scheme can effectively reduce the upstream transmission latency of the fronthaul service.
