摘要:短串联重复序列是以1-6个核苷酸为重复单元的简单重复序列,具有长度多态性以及高度易变性。它广泛分布于各类生物基因组中,作为遗传标记运用在多个领域中,并且具有的不稳定性与一系列神经系统方面的疾病以及癌症有关。短串联重复序列近些年吸引了大量研究者的关注,关于短串联重复序列的产生机制有不同的研究报导,本文主要对几个比较详尽的模型进行介绍并论述其合理性,以期能为探究基因组的演化规律以及相关疾病的机制提供参考意见。

Overview of the generation mechanism of short tandem repeats
Abstract:Short tandem repeats are simple sequence repeat with 1-6 nucleotides as the repeat unit, and have length polymorphism and high variability. It is widely distributed in various biological genomes, often used as a genetic marker in many fields. The instability of short tandem repeatsis related to a series of diseases in nervous system and many cancer. Short tandem repeats have attracted the attention of many researchers in recent years. There are different research reports on the generation mechanism of short tandem repeats. This article mainly introduces several detailed models and discusses their rationality, hoping to explore the evolutionary laws of the genome and provide reference for the mechanism of related diseases.
